The Pledge of Allegiance

This is R3's first year to attend pre-school.

At first I was worried he might be to young but he loves it and is doing great.

He is learning so many new things.

Last night he blurted out the Pledge of Allegiance

Here is his version...

I pledge allegiance to my flag of the United States of America, and to Rebublic for which it stands: one Nation for God, indavisible, With Libertay and Justice forall.

It was so cute to listen to him. I called my mother in law and let him recite this for her. She said it brought back sweet memories of Hubs when he was just barely 3 going with his grand-daddy every day for a walk and stopping at the fire station so he could recite to the firemen The Pledge.

The other cute part was when Hubs asked him where his hand goes when we say The Pledge of Allegiance, R3 said over your heart. And then put his hand over his throat.

Hubs corrected him and showed him where his hand should go.

Once I find my video recorder I am going to get R3 to recite it for me.

I know Grand-daddy is smiling down from Heaven feeling proud.

This is such a sweet story! I used to LOVE when Kaish said the pledge too. LOVED it! I can't wait to see it. I am so thankful he likes school. That is such a blessing. Truly!
