Grandparent Camp

Every year the boys go Grandparent Camp.

They go for a week and have so much fun. They also make some wonderful memories.

See Grandparent Camp is where the grand parents get each grand child for a week by them selves. No sharing their time with anyone else. Just them, all week.

R1 is up at the lake with them now. He has been fishing every evening off of their dock and then today they are going to the deer lease to check things out.

He has been doing other things to but I hear most about the fishing because he calls each evening to tell me how many fish he caught.

R2 has already been there this summer and it's been over a month and he is still talking about it.

I love it because they are making precious memories and will remember this time for the rest of their lives. I still remember the vacations I took with just my grandparents and great grandparents.

I hope Grandparent Camp continues on for years and years to come.

I remember you saying that they do this! I think it's great!! We really need to make it a tradition for my kids to stay with their "grandparents", too. They always have such a good time at the lake, but I do, too! {I think that's why I rarely just leave them!}

So cool! My kids bonded so much when they went to The mall of America with Mom and Dad last week. They will never forget that trip.
