The annual event that is not so annual

Normally on Good Friday we have a BBQ, egg dyeing, and egg hunting at our house and invite our friends over.

We have done this for the past oh say 5-6 years. It is one of my favorite times of the year. I love having everyone over and hanging out. The kids love it to for obvious reasons. I mean who wouldn't love to find a golden egg with money in it.

But sadly this year we are not having our BBQ. And no, this isn't an April Fool's thing either. Things this year are just to busy for us. With baseball and other activities going on there just wasn't time to plan it.

So I am in mourning. I really am a little depressed about it. I couldn't even decorate the house like I usually do. Well, there are a few decorations out. If you call the table center piece decorations.

I'm off to pout. Be back tomorrow.

Look at the fbc pics of the egg hunt. There is a really cute pic of Nick and Ri holding hands and walking. Wish I had that pic!

Oh no! So sad. I didn't do much for easter this year either. And next year, Kaish is going to be in 5th grade. Do you know that is the last year kids can participate in egg hunts around here... I can NOT believe he is growing so big. I just can't handle it!
