Almost the end

Saturday was a CrAzY day for me.

R4 and R8 both had baseball games. R8 ended up having a double header. R4 and R8's second game were at the same time so I was running from one field to the other like a nut.

And I had a photography company at the park taking action pictures of the boys. R8 had some done in 2006 and they were awesome.

I really wanted to get R4 since this was his first year to play and I really wanted R8 in his catchers gear.

I can't wait to see those.

R8 made some great plays at home and even made an inside the park home run.

When that happens he gets to pick what ever he wants from the concession stand.

So while Hubs, R8 and my dad made their way to the car, I went to battle the lines and get R8 his chicken strips and french fries. I don't know what it is about ball park food but the kids love it.

R4 left with my in-laws since they were going to the John Deer Tractor Store and R4 is all about anything John Deer.

Sorry, got off the point.

The point is R4 is now done with baseball. We made it through his first season.

Right after his game they had closing ceremonies and each child received their trophy.

R4 was so proud he couldn't wait to get home and put it on his dresser. And the good news...he still wants to play next year.

As for R8, he still has one week left. One more week of games, one more week of eating my pickle flavored sunflower seeds, one more week of washing uniforms.

But guess what?? It just might not be over.

Two words....All Stars!

Oh this brings back SUCH wonderful memories! Cameron has always been so talented in basebal and always made All Starts! They played ALL summer, went to State every year! SO MUCH FUN!!! They finished second the last year he was in little league and were the ONLY team to beat the team that won Nationals! I was like you and loved every minute of it!

I can remember one game at State when Cameron went up to bat. He always looked at me before he would bat, ALWAYS! It was a tight game, tough, and he looked at me and said "Mom, I can't do this." I said, "sure you can, just do what you do and have fun doing it!" He walked up to the plate and hit a triple! I swear I was climbing the fence!! Good Times!

High school ball is not the same, sadly. Cameron has done well, but it is just different.

Have fund and ENJOY these days girlfriend! They grow up SO FAST and get their drivers license and run into people!!!

Thank you for your encouragement, I need it and appreciate it so much!

I hope you have a great week!

Awwwwwwwwwww. This almost made me wish Kaish wanted to play! My best friends 2 little girls play softball and she practically lives in the field for the months of May and June! Much like you! I am sure the pictures are awesome! What a great idea to capture those memories!
