Waiting is the hardest part

I don't even know where to begin.

Thank you all for your prayers and kind words.

I won't lie, I am anxious to get home. But we won't have power for about 3-4 weeks.

Hubs and I feel what is the point in going home with no power and the condition of our house unknown.

We have several places to stay once the power is on.

My best friend and her husband have taken a ton of pictures and we have called the insurance company.

So now we sit and wait. And waiting is the hardest part!

Please keep praying for everyone. I know there are people out there who are in worse shape than we are.

Thanks again. And thanks just doesn't seem like enough.

We will keep you in our prayer here. I'm so sorry this is happening to you.

I know you will have some great experiences staying at your friends' homes. Think of all the great stories you can write about!

Sister, I will be praying as you return home. Keep us posted! I know you're anxious to get back, but at the same time, wow, I can't imagine what you are feeling. I'm asking God to super-size that dose of peace He's sending your way...

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. My daughter dated a young man from Tomball and has not heard from him yet. His family has a business in Houston. He also works there. She talked to him a couple of nights before the hurricane and they were preparing for it, she is still waiting to hear from him. Stay Safe!
